At our facility in Mordialloc, several engine management system projects are being developed and tested on concurrently. Since its inception, Gastech has had several trialled and tested successes for its mostly heavy duty diesel fleet clientele.
The typical conversion remanufactured kit consists of custom pistons and rings, turbocharger and an electronic engine management system. Cylinder heads modified for spark plug installation are swapped on a core exchange basis. Each kit is developed on an engine dynamometer and engineered for a specific engine. The components can be installed during an engine rebuild for a small premium in cost. The actual conversion can be accomplished by engine swap-out, distributor rebuild or installation by the fleet garage. In - frame conversion technology is also under development. We can offer systems for any 4-stroke diesel upon request.
